Sleep???? What is Sleep????..........

Ok so we still haven't really slept. We went and had a nice meal last night with some new great friends Ann and Paul. We came home slept for a FEW hours and got up again about 3:30 am.
We start our new adventure today at 8am and to say we are feeling ANXIOUS couldn't be a bigger under statement. Neither of us have ever had a harder time with a time change. I mean jet lag is one thing but with the whole,"about to be parents thing" on top of it, who can even consider sleeping. We will probably all 3 collapse later today....Or so we hope! We have no idea what baby schedule will be so we are gonna have to wing it!
We are going to get our baby boy and then we are going to take him straight to the medical clinic to make sure he doesn't need any medication and that all is good. Life in an orphanage gives little medical attention and we just want to make sure our little guy gets every bit of attention he has missed in his time at the orphanage. Next time you read this blog we will be a family! :)

Finally....some light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully it is only going to get better from here. I hope you are going to be able to bring Kian home when you leave, and not have to leave him behind because I know once you have your baby in your arms you are not going to want to leave the country without him. I can not wait to see him with you guys! Awaiting you video call!

Hi Kim, it's Lisa (friend of M's, w/gallery, in SF). I experienced an overwhelming burst of joy, accompanied by tears, when M told me you were leaving to go get your baby boy. With positive thoughts in my head, butterflies in my belly and joy in my heart, for the three of you, I trust all will be as it should soon enough. I look forward to the unfolding of your story with precious Kian. Sending much love & many blessings. xL

OMG - it's finally happening - you are going to meet Kian!! I am so excited and nervous for you. I remember those feelings so well. The boy babies in our group wanted bottles approx every 3 hours, slept 2x/day (3 hrs after morning bottle, then 3 hours after that, etc.) And bottle temp was never an issue - just keep it coming! Sleep when he sleeps and all will be good.
