G & R

We had our Giving and Receiving Ceremony! To the government of Vietnam you are not officially the childs legal parents until you have a G & R basically like what we in the US would have as a legal court adoption process. So it really is the day you sign your life away! We had our ceremony with many other families from our agency and some families from Sweden. It takes only about an hour but it is the most important hour of his life to this point! We are legally his parents and NO GOVERNMENT red tape can ever change that now! We applied for his passport...what a little jet setter! A passport at a year old.
We are all doing well baby is getting over an ear infection and Mommy is getting over travel tummy problems! Daddy is holding up like a champ!
Kian has a date today with his friend Riley to go play at the pool. A first for him and like a true Hawaiian style baby to be, he loves the water! Yeah, for Mommy and Daddy, because we love the water too!
Now that we are all feeling better we will post more often. So stay tuned for more of the Kian Show! :)
