I'm hours away from picking up my son at the airport, and holding him in Hawaii for the first time.I want to give a BIG MAHALO shout out and much love to my loving and resilient wife, Kim. She is a warrior of love, outstanding woman, righteous spirit, and powerful presence. With her in my life, all things are possible and Kian is blessed with a mother who has battled all odds, walked all paths, kick all ass, to give him her love. This path we have taken, long and dark, bitter and surreal, Buddha now smiles on us. Our true journey is only now beginning, and I thank {who/what ever you believe in} for this opportunity to raise, mold and nurture this child, that we believe in our hearts is meant to be a Hanes. We are greatful for all the support, prayers and positive vibes from all of you. To my ohana, blood and made, Mahalo ,I can't wait for you to meet the little Dragon. To Kim ,I love you, and hang in a little longer, Daddy's on the way.
AND HERE WE GO!!
"THE FORCE IS STRONG WITH THIS ONE"!!

I am so proud of you both. You have had to work HARD for your little boy. He will know when he is older that the love his parents have for him is fierce. They will do anything and everything to overcome the challenges of life. You guys are amazing parents already...

Nothing like seeing that big, colorful visa stamp in his passport! All the strife and trauma you endured does make it all the more meaningful. Happy Thanksgiving indeed!

I am so happy that the THREE of you are together at HOME as a family now. You two are truly both warriors, and I feel so fortunate to have "met" you along the way. You've been an inspiration. Kian has wonderful parents!
Now, go relax and enjoy your time together...

Woohooo, I'm glad that we got to spend time together, and hang out. I'm glad Kian and you have made it home, and you are an amazing, strong, intelligent woman with such determination.
