So our little Kian loves the beach......or should I say eatting sand! When you live in Hawaii it is almost ritual to go to the beach on or around Christmas....well...because you can....you sort of celebrate that you don't live somewhere snowed in. I have to admit this year with Kian home 1 day of snow would of been fun for Christmas....however even when you live somewhere with snow very rarely is it 1 day of snow! Right.
So Kian is doing well and about to start walking..so look out! It is so amazing to realize that after all this time he is really here. I can remember being in Hanoi and not knowing when or if we would ever be able to come home so this holiday season is extra special to know that our long fight is over and we are home to stay! Happy New Year! Its good to be home!

It is so great to see pictures of you all together in Hawaii! :) I'm really jealous staring at the pictures of you all at the beach! It is going to be 60 degrees today and I'm happy about that!
Kian is definitely your son. He fits right into Hawaii. He loves it, it is so evident!!!
What a wonderful 2009 you will all have. So glad you are back in the states (even if it's not the continental states :) )
